Gent Clocks were established in Leicester, England, in 1872 by John Thomas Gent.  For over a century, the company was a well known manufacturer of electronic equipment, in particular electric clocks, which were used in public buildings, government offices and railway stations all over the world.

These analog clocks have a beautiful simple and clean design which is easy to read and are visual masterpieces carrying a truly unique character and design that stands the test of time.

These clocks were originally ‘slave’ clocks which were all connected to a master clock which sent out electronic pulses every minute to control them.  This system ensured that every clock in the whole building they were in showed the exact same time.

This clock has been converted to a battery mechanism which takes 1 x AA battery (not included).
