Smiths was founded in 1851 in Cricklewood, North London.  Smiths were a large clock manufacturer in Europe, they produced clocks which were used in public buildings, railway stations, schools, private homes, and even the aircraft and motorcar industries.

This clock is from the 1960’s and was eclectically powered but has now been converted to a modern battery mechanism which takes 1 x AA battery (not included).

These analog clocks have a beautiful simple and clean design which is easy to read and are visual masterpieces carrying a truly unique character and design that stands the test of time.
